5 Reasons to Attend Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival

The Epcot Food and Wine Festival is perhaps one of Disney’s most popular festivals every year. Historically the festival ran September through November, however since 2020 it’s run mid-July through November. This is great news - now there’s even more time to explore all the festival has to offer! If you’re wondering why you should go, here are 5 reasons you should consider it.

The Cost

Unlike some of Disney’s after hours festivities, the cost of the festival is included with your Epcot ticket! This means if you have a park hopper pass, you can head over to your favorite booth for a drink or snack, even if your park day is at Magic Kingdom! (Park hopping hours apply)

The Food

The food at the festival is absolutely amazing. With food representing over 20 cultures, there’s sure to be something to please everyone in your travel party! You can even try eating around the world - you’ll be full, but it’s a great experience!

The Drinks

While “wine” is in the name of the festival, there’s plenty of other beverages offered. There’s several choices of beer, flavored wines, and many non-alcoholic beverages to choose from. You definitely won’t go thirsty at this festival! If you do drink alcohol, please do so responsibly and be sure to drink plenty of water.

The Entertainment

Participate in Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak - buy a map, find the hidden Remy’s throughout Epcot, place the appropriate stickers, and win a prize when you find them all! Plus, enjoy a mix of local musicians performing throughout the week, with beloved bands performing on the weekend. Previous festivals have seen Boyz II Men, Hanson, Air Supply, Hoobastank, Smash Mouth, MercyMe, Sugar Ray, and more!

The Collectibles

Are you a collector? There are new designs every year, and you’ll see them on everything! From Spirit Jerseys, shirts, Corkcicle bottles and wine glasses, food trays, and Dooney & Burke, to the classics like pins and ears, you’re sure to find something to buy!
